Compassion Fatigue Class

We understand that too often the human service providers are struck by compassion fatigue and are continually exposed to secondary trauma. We are sensitive to the crisis responders, therapists, and professionals who work so hard to provide services in the recovery field and to crime victims. This in no way excludes those of us who face day to day stress in our professional and home lives. Therefore, this workshop is designed to educate you on the process, development, and symptoms of compassion fatigue so that you can recognize the warning signs with increased awareness. Our program will teach you how to prevent compassion fatigue and also treat it by developing your own self-care plan. Furthermore, learn about the do’s and don’ts of recovery, avoid the menu of misconceptions, and discover how to take positive action to change your environment.
